Connected Teachers at Benton CSD!

Yesterday we spent some time in district grade-level teams at Professional Development talking about Student Goal Sheets.  Our district has worked hard the last few years to update this to reflect the best ways to help students be a part of their learning. Benton Community Schools has committed to having goal-setting conversations with K-8 students three times per year.  These conversations surround how students score on district assessments as well as how students are progressing toward meeting priority standards in literacy and math.  Let me know if you'd like to hear more about our goal-setting process!
